Aaron David Lewis is an award-winning creative director, videographer, interactive content developer, and journalist. He is best known for his globe-spanning TV documentaries; interactive and gamified learning apps; + his generative AI creative content.

As an international political correspondent for some of the world's most respected broadcasters, Lewis spent years professionally predicting the results of elections around the world, as well as covering domestic political events. And like so many of his journalist colleagues, he was caught flat-footed by a few of the most sudden and profound changes of the last decade. Whilethe plurality of pundits and media personalities took those very public failures as a sign that journalists should 'get out of the prediction business', Lewis decided instead to learn everything he could about how journalists could improve how they think about the future.
Then in 2018 Lewis set out to test his insights by competing in emerging prediction markets like PredictIt, and Forecast. He hit the #1 spot on Forecast within weeks of launch.
In 2019, Lewis was invite to join The Future Institute as their Executive Editor to help build TFIs next-generation prediction hub -The Future Game - a free to play game that allows tens of thousands of players to collaborate in predicting events while being guided by the best forecasting methodologies available today. Years in the making, The Future Game is set to launch in late 2022, along with its companion pod The Lookahead, which Lewis is slated to host.

Lewis has been creating videos around mental health subjects since his very first festival winning short film 'Break' He has since directed feature documentaries on subjects related to mental and neurological health like The Boy Inside, as well as broadcast series like The Neuroscience Of Love.
In 2017 Lewis began an ongoing creative collaboration with Columbia University's Center For Policy Innovation to develop a growing library of interactive learning experiences for clinicians, experts, and the public. The success of that body of work has since lead to major mental health education and advocacy projects for FEMA, SAHMSA, CUCS, NIDA, OMH, Thrive NYC, and many others.
Key to these successes has been Lewis 'High Fidelity' approach to scripting and dramatic execution - an approach that integrates Subject Matter Experts and real-life-subjects into every part of the creative process.

Lewis has always had a passion for illustration. That began as a love of classic cartoon strips like Peanuts, Calvin & Hobbes, and Doonesbury... as well as then still mostly paper-bound worlds of DC and Marvel Comics.
He has written and illustrated his own indy comic The Golden Age, as well as created both 2D and 3D illustrations, motion-graphics, and animations for countless projects over the years.
In 2020 he modelled, animated, and coded a 3D toon-style learning game for clinicians and therapists about improving the treatment of common cognitive disorders.

Lewis has always approached his creative work by first establishing a deep working understanding of the relevant medium and technology. In 2020 he was certified as a C# and Unity Developer, so that he would be better able to communicate with, and better able to lead the teams of coders and designers that were becoming frequent creative collaborators for projects in the learning, and VR/AR spaces.
He's created custom branching video apps, games for learning, and In 2022 he also co-created the fan-favorite web-game Trekle, a sci-fi wordle varient.

Lewis began his career as a music video director in Toronto's explosive late 90s music scene. Those formative years exploring bombastic visual styles, and his fluency with music production have remained major influences on his work.
Lewis is also a multi-instrumentalist musician. His first instrument was the viola, but his first love was the blues harmonica - an instrument which he has always carried with him on his many travels, and has landed him in live gigs all over the world. He also plays saxophone, keyboards, guitar, and Roli synths. He has even helped develop entirely new instruments in Virtual Reality. Today he's most likely to be found playing his Roli Seaboards and Lightpads, as well as the vintage butterscotch telecaster that was a birthday gift from his amazing wife.

AARON DAVID LEWIS is a multi award-winning tv director, producer, videographer, and broadcast journalist. The first half of his career was spent producing and shooting tv documentaries in more than fifty countries and on every continent - including Antarctica. It was here that he developed his hallmark style of combining meticulous research with visual improvisation to deliver real stories about dramatic moments of change.

LEWIS’s first feature film The Boy Inside began a short bit of TV journalism but grew into a life-changing project . The film follows fourteen year old Zack Lamb as he undergoes experimental neurosurgery to treat his severe Tourettes Syndrome. The Boy Inside was seen in more than 80 countries and received widespread acclaim. Lewis followed up with his next film Fight Knight – a bloody foray into the Olympics of real life armed medieval combat.

LEWIS's experiments with combining video and interactive platforms included this 'choose your own adventure' video series made with the National Nurses Association and The National Institute on Drug Abuse. This scripted interactive drama series teaches emergency room physicians about how to better diagnose and treat opioid use disorders - by allowing them to make life or death choices and see how they play out. LEWIS designed and developed the interactive video software himself.

While the learning and development space has been urgently trying to gamify learning tools LEWIS instead started to learnify gaming tools. Rather than using conventional learning software to deliver simple quizzes and flat games ... LEWIS began adapting world class video game engines like UNITY to create highly customized 3D interactive learning experiences ... an early version of what what many people today would call 'metaverse' content.

Along with his longtime producing partners Aaron David Lewis founded ModernEpic in New York City to embrace new video technologies formats - including animation and interactive storytelling. An early success was What Is Psychosis? This animated campaign garnered awards and launched an ongoing creative collaboration with Columbia University's world renown Center For Practice Innovation.
